Job summary

Wallick Communities seeks a Community Manager to lead leasing and maintenance teams in our Ohio communities. You will manage payroll, collections, invoices, and supplies, while keeping occupancy near 98% and maintaining strong owner and resident relations.

The role emphasizes compliance, timely reporting, and ongoing staff development within a 100% employee-owned company that values DEI and resident-focused service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year residential property management; HUD/Section 8 a plus.
• 3+ years in a general manager role with strong leadership.
• COS/LIHTC/HCCP/AHM a plus; opportunity to obtain.
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office; Yardi experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing agents and maintenance staff to deliver great resident experiences.
• Process community staff payroll and ensure accurate records.
• Ensure rent collections are received and deposited; process invoices.
• Maintain occupancy targets (min 98%) and positive owner/Resident relationships.
• Oversee move-out paperwork, inspections, and timely government reports.
• Audit resident files and maintain company standards; perform related duties.
