Job summary

Wallick Communities seeks a Community Manager in Salem, OH to lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance staff, ensuring a high‑quality resident experience and timely payroll processing. This role manages rent collections, invoices, and inventory while maintaining occupancy targets and strong owner relationships.

The position requires 1+ year in property management with HUD/Section 8 experience a plus, or 3 years in a general manager role, plus strong leadership and MS Office skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Yardi

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals to provide a great resident experience.
• Process community staff payroll.
• Ensure collections of all monies due to the community and deposit them.
• Process community invoices for payment and maintain supplies.
• Maintain occupancy levels at or above 98%.
• Review rental applications for approval.
• Perform move-out, annual, and housekeeping inspections.
• Complete timely reports required by government agencies and Company.
