CWS Apartment Homes is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director to blend hands-on maintenance with strong leadership. You’ll guide the maintenance team, prepare make-ready apartments, and handle service requests while ensuring residents receive outstanding service.

The role requires EPA/HVAC certifications, Yardi experience, and basic carpentry/plumbing skills, plus the ability to read work orders and coordinate with residents, vendors, and the CWS team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO certifications required.
• 1–2 years full-time apartment maintenance experience or related trade.
• Driver’s license and current auto insurance required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Ability to read service requests and communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Lead maintenance team and ensure safety and standards.
• Prepare make-ready apartments for new residents.
• Complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Perform common area maintenance and preventive tasks.
• Engage in resident satisfaction programs and communicate with residents and vendors.
• Coordinate with leadership and the CWS team on maintenance issues.
