Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team across our communities. You will oversee daily maintenance operations, ensure timely completion of service requests, and promote resident satisfaction while maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, hands-on maintenance experience, and proficiency with Yardi and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Yardi software experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office and Outlook experience required.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO and local certifications required.
• Minimum 2–4 years previous full-time apartment maintenance or related trades experience.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Able to read service requests and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team members.
• Embrace, engage, motivate and train team members.
• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Lead preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Lead and participate in the CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
