Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Experience cooking for large groups preferred.
• Certified in food-preparation training preferred.
• Knowledge of state food-handling regulations.
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards and fire and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menus and cook food in accordance with nutritional guidelines and residents' diets.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, rotation, and storage of products.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and safe environment.
• Coordinate food services for special events upon request.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor and ensure proper handling of food.
