Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to perform a variety of dining service tasks in a community-oriented setting. You will help with dining room setup, food preparation per recipes, serve meals, maintain cleanliness, and ensure foods are served hot and on time.

You will also handle HACCP documentation, safety procedures, and daily cleaning duties, including bussing, stocking, and proper waste disposal, while following infection control protocols and policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members; Hepatitis A vaccination may be required in some regions.

Responsibilities

• Performs defined work routines using various dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned.
• Assists with all aspects of dining service set-up in dining rooms and at catered events, including beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items per recipes; ensures proper temperatures and timely service.
• Assists with dining room set up including setting tables, stocking buffets, and serving residents.
• Maintains dining areas through cleaning duties, bussing tables, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, removing trash, and stocking items.
• Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Follows safety procedures and infection control policies; reports hazards or issues to supervisor.
• Maintains documentation including HACCP logs, product usage, and waste records.
