Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to perform dining service tasks, maintain clean, sanitary dining areas, and assist with food preparation where directed.

You will assist with meal service setup, portioning, beverage prep, and ensuring foods are served hot and on time, while following recipe instructions and resident preferences. This role emphasizes safety, infection control, and teamwork in a respectful, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, diet orders, and resident cards.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks with interruptions.
• Patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members.
• Willing to receive Hepatitis A vaccine if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined dining service routines using utensils and equipment as assigned.
• Assist with dining service set-up, beverages, salads, desserts, and ensure foods are served hot and on time.
• Assist with dining room set up, buffets, and serving residents.
• Assist with clean-up and maintain dining areas, including dishes, trash, and stocking.
• Receive and store food and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly.
• Maintain HACCP logs and record product usage and waste amounts.
• Follow infection control procedures and wear protective clothing.
