Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to maintain clean dining areas, assist with meal preparation, and support residents in a friendly, safe environment. You will handle food preparation tasks, set up dining rooms, serve residents, and manage routine cleaning and sanitation as part of daily duties.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, HACCP documentation, and infection control while providing excellent service to residents and staff in a team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members; willing to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine if working within St. Louis County (in accordance with county health regulations).

Responsibilities

• Performs defined work routines using dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned.
• Assists with dining service set-up in dining rooms and at catered events, serving residents and ensuring proper temperatures and timely service.
• Assists with dining room setup, stocking buffets, and serving residents.
• Keeps dining service areas clean by daily cleaning duties, bussing tables, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and proper waste handling.
• Receives and stores food and supplies.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or faulty equipment.
• Maintains HACCP logs and records product usage and waste amounts.
• Follows infection control procedures and proper sanitization procedures.
