Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Billings, MT is hiring a Cook to provide residents and guests with a pleasant dining experience through the efficient, sanitary preparation and service of high quality, nutritious meals.

You will follow recipes, help develop menus, assist with inventory and ordering, keep a clean, safe kitchen, and work with various cooking methods including baking, frying, salads, sautéing and short order cooking.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience required.
• Sanitation certification (ServSafe) or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Flexible and accommodating to residents and guests.
• Solid work ethic and good team player.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares high quality, nutritious meals.
• Assists in developing menus and daily prep list.
• Helps with inventory and ordering.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment.
• Assists with various cooking methods including baking, frying, cold salad prep, sautéing, and short order cooking.
