Astral at Franklin is seeking a qualified kitchen teammate to prepare nutritious meals for residents, follow menus, and adapt recipes for dietary needs.

You will coordinate serving, manage portions to minimize waste, maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen, assist in menu planning, train staff, and ensure compliance with all regulations. A high school diploma/GED, ServSafe certification, and at least 1 year of cooking experience are required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare food daily according to menus and adapt recipes for dietary needs.
• Ensure attractive presentation of food on the plate.
• Coordinate serving and monitor portions to meet residents' requests and minimize waste.
• Maintain an accurate record of chargeable meals and submit monthly records.
• Assist with menu planning and adjust menus for seasonality and events.
• Identify food and supplies for next week and report needs.
• Prepare meats for storage and labeling; ensure proper handling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen; comply with regulations.
• Assist in training other kitchen staff in food preparation.
• Perform other duties as assigned; comply with policies.
