Job summary

Astral at Franklin is seeking a dining services assistant to support all dietary functions under the direction of the Dining Services management team. You will serve meals, help keep production and dining areas clean, and assist with bussing, dishwashing, and kitchen sanitation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; ServSafe certification is optional; previous dining experience is not required though 1+ year is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED.
• Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe certification if required.
• Experience: None required; 1+ years of dining services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and set the table in dining rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas including vents, fryers, flattop, range, steamers, ovens, refrigerators, coolers, and storage areas.
• Bus dining room as needed and send dishes through the dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots and pans as needed.
• Put clean dishes away in appropriate places.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
• Dispose of garbage appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
