Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager in residential property management.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• Proactive approach with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of marketing, sales and closing techniques.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing occupancy, appearance, and maintenance goals.
• Assist with marketing and converting inquiries to showings and rentals.
• Process rental applications per policy.
• Prepare and execute lease agreements.
• Ensure move-in readiness by inspecting units.
• Support retention with proactive resident service and follow-ups.
• Host resident appreciation events.
• Manage rent collection and review resident ledgers.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and inspections.
• Walk property and report safety issues.
• Oversee move-outs per policy.
• Assist with leasing staff training.
• Attend trainings and complete courses on time.
• Perform other tasks as directed by PM or VPO.
