Job summary

Experience Senior Living LLC in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Director of Resident Experience to lead the development of a best-in-class resident experience program for The Reserve Falls Church community.

You will recruit and supervise the Resident Experience team, create engaging activities, manage budgets, partner with other departments, and ensure exceptional service for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or 2 years related experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication with the ability to present information.
• Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities with regular performance conversations.
• Ability to recruit, orient, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
• Willingness to drive company vehicle and adhere to motor vehicle policy.
• Proficiency with technology and resident experience software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the Resident Experience Program.
• Creates and organizes activities based on residents’ needs.
• Develops and modifies community events with resident input.
• Publishes monthly Resident Experience calendar by the 1st of each month.
• Coordinates activities with other departments and marketing when needed.
• Uses LifeLoop to publish monthly calendars.
• Identify concerns impacting access to care and address them.
• Encourage participation from all residents within comfort levels.
• Manage department budget and resources.
• Recruit, hire, orient, train, supervise, and evaluate team members.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers, vendors, and partners.
• Serve as Manager on Duty as assigned.
• Build relationships with residents, families, and staff to support culture.
• Occasionally drive the company bus/vehicle as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
