Job summary

Experience Senior Living LLC. seeks a Director of Culinary Services/Executive Chef to lead our Culinary Services team and build a best-in-class dining program for The Reserve Falls Church. This role drives resident satisfaction, menu development, budgeting, and vendor relationships in a senior living community.

The ideal candidate has extensive fine dining or hospitality experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage diverse teams, budgets, and events in a on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Five or more years culinary experience in the fine dining or hospitality industry.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Basic computer skills – Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise Culinary Services team, including scheduling, performance reviews, hiring and corrective action.
• Meet with residents and family members to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Collaborate with the restaurant manager to ensure high levels of customer service and fine dining.
• Ensure front of house and back of house work closely to deliver a superior dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of kitchen and dining areas; comply with health codes.
• Plan and execute Life Enrichment events, special events, banquets, and themed meals.
• Coordinate with Sales to market the community via culinary demos and road shows.
