Job summary

Experience Senior Living seeks a Director of Resident Experience to lead the Resident Experience program and oversee events, activities, and team supervision. The role involves coordinating calendars, partnering with marketing for events, and ensuring resident engagement across the community.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or 2 years related experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage budgets and collaborate across departments. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years related experience.
• Completion of all applicable certifications and requirements from the licensing agency.
• Clear communication in writing and verbally, with visual messaging.
• Strong leadership: supervise, coach, and conduct performance reviews.
• Use independent judgement to meet company goals.
• Operate standard office equipment; use tech tools effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Innovative, proactive problem solving and program development.
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the Resident Experience Program.
• Creates and organizes programs for group, individual and one-on-one activities.
• Researches, evaluates, approves, develops, and modifies community events and programs.
• Publishes monthly Resident Experience calendar by the 1st of each month.
• Coordinates activities with other departments and partners.
• Uses LifeLoop to publish monthly calendars.
• Identify and address residents' personal, emotional, mental, and environmental concerns.
• Encourage participation from all residents as appropriate.
• Manage departmental budget and resources.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
• Recruit and schedule volunteers and vendors; supervise programs and Leaders.
