Job summary

County of Chester seeks a Resident Services Technician to assist residents with non-care-related needs and services. You will engage residents with activities and accompany them on outings, while supporting daily operations and light tasks around the facility.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations. The role includes 11am–7pm shifts and every-other-weekend work expectations.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one socialization with residents on and off units.
• Hold discussion groups to promote interaction and reminiscence.
• Gather materials for group activities.
• Observe residents and report unusual changes.
• Assist residents on outside bus trips and transport.
• Shop for residents, feed meals, and transport on/off units.
• Distribute fluids, snacks and nutritional supplements.
• Perform light cleaning, make beds and manage laundry.
• Fill water pitchers and track daily tasks.
• Work hours from 11 am to 7 pm; every other weekend.
• Perform other duties and special projects as required.
