Job summary

Chester County is seeking a Resident Services Technician to assist residents with non-care-related needs and services. You will engage residents through one-on-one socialization, lead discussion groups, and help coordinate activities and outings, while ensuring safety and dignity.

Responsibilities include observing residents, reporting changes, running errands, transporting residents, assisting with meals and supplies, and supporting light housekeeping tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Accurate and detail oriented with good communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one socialization with residents on and off units.
• Hold discussion groups to promote interaction and reminiscence.
• Gather materials relevant to group activities.
• Observe residents and report unusual changes in behavior or appearance.
• Assist residents on outside bus trips and transportation.
• Shop for residents, feed meals, and transport residents on/off units.
• Distribute fluids, snacks, and nutritional supplements at designated times.
• Performs light cleaning duties and related tasks.
• Fill water pitchers and assist with daily operations.
• Work hours are 11 am to 7 pm; every other weekend required.
• Perform other duties and special projects as required.
