Job summary

TAM Residential is seeking a Community Manager to oversee a multifamily property, driving leasing, resident relations, maintenance, and financial performance while leading onsite staff. The role emphasizes maintaining occupancy, ensuring compliant operations, and delivering an exceptional resident experience.

Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, marketing, and ensuring safety and quality standards across the community, with strong emphasis on leadership and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property management; multifamily experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions and handle emergencies in a professional manner.
• Customer-service mindset with problem-solving ability.
• Must be available to respond to emergencies after hours.
• If job duties require a vehicle, must maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff including leasing and maintenance teams.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on customer service and performance.
• Prepare and manage the community’s operating budget; monitor rent collections and delinquencies.
• Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and purchasing; ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to maintain occupancy and oversee leasing process.
• Build strong relationships with residents and promote retention; enforce leases and community policies.
• Coordinate maintenance and property inspections; ensure health, safety, and curb appeal.
