Job summary

Fairstead, a purpose-driven real estate firm specializing in affordable housing, currently seeks an Assistant Property Manager to join one of our properties. You will assist the Property Manager with daily operations, resident relations, administrative tasks, and financial activities.

The role emphasizes compliance with HUD 4350.3, tenant relations, lease administration, arrears tracking, and coordination with maintenance and the HOA.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in affordable housing leasing or property management.
• Knowledge and experience in local resident policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager to ensure compliance with HUD 4350.3 Handbook.
• Assist in preparing property for REAC reviews and regulatory reviews.
• Document lease violations and coordinate evictions as needed.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing questions and service requests promptly.
• Ensure maintenance team responds to resident service requests and emergencies.
• Assist tenants with requests and questions; support move-ins/outs.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional appearance with residents and visitors.
• Track arrears and assist with rent collection and renewal program.
