Job summary

Fairstead is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily property operations, resident relations, and financial tasks at one of our community properties.

The role requires knowledge of the local housing market, strong communication, and proficiency with property management software. This on-site position offers an opportunity to contribute to affordable housing and resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the local residential market.
• Proficient in written and spoken communication.
• Excellent customer service with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager to ensure HUD/4350.3 compliance.
• Coordinate lease renewals and track arrears.
• Assist in preparing property for audits and reviews.
• Document lease violations and coordinate evictions.
• Respond to resident questions and resolve service requests promptly.
• Ensure maintenance teams address resident requests.
• Assist with move-ins/move-outs and emergencies.
• Oversee rent collection and posting daily.
• Create purchase orders in Yardi.
