Job summary

Fairstead seeks an Assistant Property Manager for one of its affordable housing properties. You will assist in daily operations, support tenant relations, leases, and compliance, and collaborate with the Property Manager to deliver efficient, compliant management.

You will help manage resident services, rent collection, and coordination with maintenance while supporting a team committed to high-quality housing and community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in affordable housing leasing or property management.
• Knowledge of the local residential market.
• Experience with EIV, Yardi and RealPage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to learn and work with property management applications.
• Quick learner and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager to ensure HUD compliance in all aspects.
• Manage tenant relations and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Oversee lease renewals and arrears tracking.
• Coordinate rent posting and deposits daily.
• Support preparation for REAC reviews and inspections.
• Maintain documentation and assist with admin tasks.
