Job summary

Sandalwood Management, Inc. seeks an Assistant Community Manager for Copper Creek in Kent, OH (182 units). The role supports the Community Manager in daily operations, leases, and tenant retention at a mid-sized community.

You will handle records, rent collection, and renewals while stepping in for the Community Manager when needed. Compensation reflects hourly pay with incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in multifamily property management.
• Experience with Yardi property management software.
• Strong admin and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Pre-employment background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent customer service with proactive responses to inquiries.
• Collect rents and post income within 24 hours of collection.
• Maintain accurate property records and rent rolls.
• Manage collections, evictions, and utility cut-offs as needed.
• Input and code invoices into Accounts Payable promptly.
• Keep lease files current and destroy obsolete documents properly.
• Prepare delinquency notices, evictions, and Notices to Vacate.
• Review lease files before move-in and schedule renewals.
• Lead in the Community Manager's absence and oversee daily ops.
• Support monthly market studies and property performance analysis.
