AMH in Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated Resident Manager to oversee a portfolio of single-family homes. You will drive lease renewals, process new leases, resolve resident inquiries, and ensure compliance with state laws throughout the tenant lifecycle.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and experience in property operations or management, plus a real estate license and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business management, or related field preferred.
• Real Estate License and any permits/certifications required by state real estate commission.

Responsabilités

• Foster positive relationships with residents in your assigned portfolio.
• Drive lease renewals and execute new leases within the market.
• Conduct move-out reconciliation, assess damages, and determine charges per state laws.
• Implement collection strategies to minimize evictions and delinquencies.
• Represent the company at eviction hearings and monitor HOA compliance.
