Job summary

Horizon Land Management in Pleasantville, IA, is seeking a Community Manager to oversee daily operations and resident relations at the assigned property. This full-time role requires coordinating rent processing, lease documentation, and communication with residents while ensuring park rules are followed and community standards are maintained.

Responsibilities include working with maintenance, handling notices and evictions if needed, and serving as the onsite point of contact for contractors.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn operations software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws in the assigned state/county.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Self-motivated and comfortable being hands-on and on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned community.
• Serve as liaison between Horizon Land Management and residents.
• Collect rent payments and prepare deposit payments.
• Process lease documents for new residents.
• Provide resident communications and enforce park rules.
• Manage notices, evictions, and related court documents.
• Coordinate maintenance and onsite contractors.
• Record resident feedback and pursue issue resolution.
• Assist with tenant applications and background checks.
