Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Property Manager in California to oversee daily property operations, ensure resident satisfaction, and manage leases and reporting. The role focuses on delivering strong customer service, coordinating maintenance, and maintaining financial performance.

The position requires organizational and interpersonal skills, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of property management workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of property management experience required.
• 1–2 years of direct management experience requested.
• Knowledge of resident lifecycle activities.
• Salesforce.com experience preferred; Yardi Voyager or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations and resident satisfaction.
• Manage lease administration, rent collection, delinquency, property P&L, and marketing.
• Recruit, interview, and hire staff; provide coaching and development.
• Lead with a shared vision and coaching for associates.
• Execute marketing plans to attract and retain residents.
• Respond to resident issues and liaise with corporate on maintenance and rules.
