Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in California to support the property manager with daily operations, lease administration, reporting, and resident relations.

This role requires 2–3 years of property management experience, a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred), and familiarity with Yardi Voyager. Strong MS Office skills and a valid driver's license are expected. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in property management is required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Real estate license is preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day operations of the property, including resident satisfaction and lease administration.
• Oversee supplier contracts and maintenance scheduling.
• Prepare monthly financial and leasing reports; maintain rent rolls and accounts receivable.
• Audit lease agreements and resident files for accuracy; process evictions as needed.
• Assist with marketing, training staff, and resident relations; handle move-ins/outs and lease renewals.
