Job summary

Cardinal Group is seeking a Community Manager in Ann Arbor, MI. This full-time exempt role oversees property operations, leasing, and resident relations to protect and enhance community value and living experiences.

You will direct maintenance, safety, marketing, and financial budgeting while leading on-site teams. Biweekly payroll with benefits and bonus eligibility accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Four years’ experience in property management. Must have a strong working knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, residential law and resident relations.
• Working knowledge of property management software; Entrata is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and the Google platform.
• Ability to analyze a monthly financial statement and prepare detailed budgets and operating forecasts.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work independently as a project leader and team member.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude about the company with team members, residents, clients, and the public.
• Strive for improvements in community performance to meet annual financial and operational goals.
• Direct day-to-day activities of loss prevention, risk management, safety, maintenance, marketing, leasing and facility upkeep.
• Develop working income for operating the property, by managing cash flow and leasing strategy.
• Analyze and produce monthly financial statements including operating variances from budget, cash management and receivables.
