Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations at one apartment community. The role requires strong resident relations, leadership, and the ability to communicate effectively, take charge, train, and be dependable.

You will manage staffing, budgeting, financial reporting, and leasing strategies to hit occupancy and revenue goals while ensuring exceptional resident service. This is an on-site role with a focus on collaboration with maintenance and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of multi-family property management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and property management software.
• Ability to lead training and oversee staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead property staff, onboarding, training, timesheet approvals, and annual assessments.
• Drive team to meet performance indicators and manage disciplinary actions with HR.
• Conduct ongoing training with office staff on leasing paperwork and safety.
• Motivate associates through recognition programs and team-building activities.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reporting and provide budget variance analysis within +/-10%.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by promptly addressing issues and requests.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure timely responses to service requests.
• Provide excellent customer service and uphold high resident service standards.
• Analyze market trends and work with marketing to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Follow eviction procedures and assist with court proceedings as needed.
• Manage client/owner relationships with updates and tours.
