Qualifications

• Previous leasing or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, Section 8, and Fair Housing is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple resident needs.
• Excellent communication and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to walk long distances and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and respond to prospective residents’ questions about lease terms.
• Tour the property and vacant apartments with prospective residents, highlighting benefits.
• Provide accurate information about rental rates, deposits, and lease terms.
• Collect and process rental applications, deposits, and leases while ensuring compliance.
• Assist in promoting a positive community atmosphere and retain residents.
• Prepare move-in packages, notices, and support resident engagement efforts.
• Maintain resident files, reports, and inspection checklists.
• Use property management software to track tenant information and transactions.
• Assist with HUD Wait List management and related certifications.
• Assist with HUD/TCAC Move-In and recertification processes.
• Assist with generating HUD/EIV-required monthly and income reports.
• Assist with obtaining verifications and signatures for certifications.
