Job summary

VPM Management, Inc. is seeking a Leasing Consultant for Harbor Village Apartments in Costa Mesa, CA. This full-time role requires welcoming prospective residents, presenting community features, and processing applications with accuracy.

You will coordinate move-ins and support administrative tasks to maintain an exceptional rental experience. Responsibilities include touring the property, quoting rates, deposits, and lease terms, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing or customer service experience in property management or real estate.
• Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, Section 8, Fair Housing, and tenant/landlord laws is a plus.
• Strong communication and public relations skills with a professional and courteous manner.
• Good organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including property management software and 10-key.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and respond to prospective residents’ questions about lease terms and community features.
• Tour the property and vacant apartments with prospective residents, highlighting benefits.
• Provide accurate information about rental rates, deposits, and lease terms per policy.
• Collect and process rental applications, deposits, and lease agreements.
• Assist in maintaining a positive community atmosphere and resident engagement.
