VPM Management, Inc. is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Riverside, CA to be the first point of contact for prospective and current residents. You will explain lease terms and community features, tour the property, and coordinate applications and deposits.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, accurate record-keeping, and timely handling of maintenance requests while promoting a positive community atmosphere.

Formación

• Experience in leasing or customer service in property management or real estate.
• Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, Section 8, Fair Housing laws is a plus.
• Strong communication and courteous public relations skills.
• Good organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to walk long distances and navigate stairs with ease.

Responsabilidades

• Answer telephone calls and respond to prospective residents’ questions about lease terms and community features.
• Tour the property and vacant apartments with prospective residents, highlighting key benefits of living in the community.
• Provide accurate information about rental rates, deposits, and lease terms in line with company policies.
• Collect and process rental applications, deposits, and lease agreements while maintaining compliance with company standards.
• Assist in promoting a positive community atmosphere by helping to retain current residents and responding promptly to their needs.
• Prepare move-in packages, traffic reports, and availability updates to support smooth operations.
• Handle maintenance requests with accuracy and ensure timely completion for residents.
• Prepare notices, legal packages, and assist in community activities, newsletters, and resident engagement efforts.
• Maintain resident files, reports, and inspection checklists with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform additional office and administrative duties as assigned by the Property Administrator and Regional Supervisor.
• Use property management software to track tenant information, lease agreements, and financial transactions.
• Manage and update property records in digital systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
