Job summary

wms is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Palm Bay, FL, to assist daily operations, leasing activities, and administration at a premier multifamily community. You will help manage financials, leases, and resident relations, while supporting the Community Manager to maintain a high standard of service.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills, with experience in leasing, hospitality, or similar fields and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of leasing, sales, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Availability to work weekends.
• Partner with the Community Manager to drive daily operations and ensure an outstanding resident experience.
• Support leasing team performance, training, and operational excellence.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Help execute sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
• Build community relationships and stay current on market trends and competitor activity.
• Recommend pricing adjustments based on market surveys and occupancy goals.
• Assist with financial management, including rent collection, delinquencies, evictions, and reporting.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend solutions to improve results.
• Maintain accurate lease, rent roll, and resident records.
• Track renewals, make-ready schedules, and occupancy reports.
• Support administrative tasks and reporting with attention to detail.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
