Job summary

Harbor Group Management is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive occupancy at a multi-family community. You will show and lease apartments, run credit checks, prepare leases, and coordinate marketing initiatives to ensure a positive living experience and strong financial performance.

Responsibilities include tours, lease processing, move-in onboarding, and ongoing resident retention efforts, with a focus on customer service and timely responses to inquiries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Experience using social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-service oriented with professional interaction with residents and vendors.
• Ability to work weekends if required.
• Valid driver's license for golf cart operation if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Qualify leads, process rental applications, run background/credit checks, and prepare lease documents.
• Ensure units are move-in ready and coordinate with maintenance.
• Execute lease agreements and move-in packages; onboard new residents.
• Design and implement marketing plans to generate traffic and maintain occupancy.
• Promote the community via Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
• Coordinate resident referrals and employer outreach; participate in local networking.
