Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate rentals, move-ins and renewals. You will engage with prospective residents to drive tours and applications, ensuring high occupancy and strong resident satisfaction.

You will use Yardi Voyager and MS Office to manage paperwork, track activity, and communicate with residents. The role requires a high school diploma, customer-service skills, and a valid driver’s license. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum one year sales experience preferred.
• One year residential leasing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs and lease renewals.
• Interact with prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy.
• Generate traffic, qualify prospects, lease apartments, and prepare leases.
• Maintain model apartments in touring condition.
• Orient residents to the property and process renewal paperwork monthly.
• Enter traffic data and maintain records in the system.
• Follow up with prospects by phone, mail or email.
• Convert phone traffic into property tour appointments.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-ins and coordinate with maintenance.
• Maintain confidential resident files and review move-in paperwork.
• Submit weekly leasing reports and manage daily open/close procedures.
• Support resident relations and respond to requests promptly.
• Analyze market to compare competitive properties.
• Assist with planning resident activities to boost retention.
