Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. You will engage directly with prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and ensure satisfaction.

The role requires strong customer service, sales experience, and familiarity with leasing procedures. A high school diploma is required and training on Fair Housing will be provided within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum of one year of previous sales experience is preferred.
• One year of previous residential leasing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Interact with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and retention.
• Qualify prospective residents, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork.
• Ensure model apartments are in touring condition.
• Orient residents to the property and process renewal paperwork monthly.
• Maintain accurate records of traffic activity and follow up with prospects via phone, mail or email.
• Schedule property tours and convert phone inquiries to appointments.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-ins and coordinate move-in/out with maintenance.
