Job summary

J Street Property Services is seeking a Leasing Consultant who will be the first friendly face future residents meet. You will drive leasing activity, support occupancy, and help create a resident experience that reflects the J Street brand in every interaction.

You will greet prospects, conduct engaging tours, respond promptly to inquiries, and guide applicants through rental processes while maintaining accurate records in the CRM and ensuring Fair Housing compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work toward leasing and sales goals while maintaining a high-quality prospect and resident experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, residents, and guests with professionalism, energy, and hospitality.
• Conduct engaging community and apartment tours linking features to what matters to each prospect.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and follow up throughout the prospect journey.
• Process rental applications, verify qualifications, and execute leases per policies.
• Maintain lead, lease, and resident information in CRM systems.
