Job summary

The Castilian in Austin, TX seeks a Marketing and Resident Experience Specialist to maximize occupancy through marketing, leasing, and resident programs. You will balance tours, move-ins, and events while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will manage social media content, track leads, coordinate lease-ups, and collaborate with the property team to maintain curb appeal and a vibrant community for residents.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in leasing, marketing, or sales.
• Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business correspondence and leasing documents.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Prior experience in the student housing industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or similar field preferred
• Social media experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue and drive occupancy through marketing efforts, exceptional customer service, and leasing execution.
• Execute the leasing process for prospective residents, including appointments, leads, tours, maintaining show rooms, and follow-up.
• Give informative property tours onsite and close the tour by addressing objectives.
• Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; complete move-ins/move-outs admin to company standard.
• Assist with office administrative tasks, including package management.
• Coordinate lease-up events, renewal events, and resident programs.
• Execute sales and marketing strategies across traditional, digital, and social channels.
• Create and post engaging social media content per company standards.
• Audit property websites and digital channels for accuracy and visuals.
• Produce and submit required reporting to supervisor.
• Coordinate room assignments and roommate matching where needed.
• Build relationships with local businesses, university partners, etc.
• Stay knowledgeable of market trends and competition.
• Partner with service team to maintain curb appeal.
• Other duties as assigned; may be on-call.
