Job summary

Rose Associates is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support our multifamily properties in New York City. You will assist the Community Manager with daily operations, resident relations, and administrative tasks to ensure vibrant and well-run communities.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, real estate, or finance, at least 3 years in multifamily leasing or assistant management, and proficiency with Yardi, RentCafe, and other property management software.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, real estate, or finance preferred.
Minimum of 3 years in multifamily leasing or assistant community management.
Proficiency with community management software (Yardi, RentCafe, On-Site, Elise AI, iLuvLeasing).
Technical knowledge of building operations and maintenance.
Understanding of marketing trends, budgeting, and reporting.
Valid NYS real estate license or ability to obtain within 120 days.
Work authorization required.
Weekend availability (Sat/Sun).

Responsibilities

Address resident requests, complaints, and inquiries in line with contractual obligations.
Liaise between ownership and residents, drafting and distributing communications.
Support in budget forecasting, accounts payable/receivable, and file compliance paperwork.
Prepare monthly reports and monitor delinquency below 0.5% of GPR.
Assist Move In/Move Out coordination and security deposit refunds.
Assist with lease administration and renewal processing.
Collaborate with management and vendors for renovations or CapEx projects.
