Job summary

Rose Associates Inc. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for multifamily properties in New York.

The role supports the Community Manager in daily operations, resident relations, and administrative tasks to ensure thriving residential communities. Responsibilities include handling resident requests, coordinating leasing, move-ins/outs, inspections, and lease administration while maintaining budgets and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing, real estate or finance.
• Minimum 3 years of multifamily leasing and/or assistant community management experience.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RentCafe, iLuvLeasing, Elise AI, On-Site) and MS Office.
• Strong budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis skills.
• Ability to coordinate Move In/Move Out schedules, inspections and lease administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager with day-to-day operations and resident relations.
• Liaise between ownership and residents, including drafting communications.
• Review and process leases, applications, and renewals to optimize occupancy and retention.
• Prepare monthly financial and occupancy reports; monitor delinquency and budgets.
• Coordinate Move In/Move Out, inspections, and security deposits; manage vendor relations.
