Job summary

Rose Associates Inc. is seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager for our multifamily portfolio in New York.

This role supports the Property Manager in day-to-day operations, resident relations, and lease administration using Yardi, RentCafe, Elise AI, On-Site, and other systems. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or finance, has at least 3 years of multifamily experience, a NYS real estate license or ability to obtain within 120 days, and is available

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of multifamily or assistant property management experience.
• Valid NYS real estate license or ability to obtain within 120 days of employment.
• Work authorization and weekend availability (Sun-Sat schedule).

Responsibilities

• Liaise between ownership and residents; draft and distribute communications.
• Manage lease administration, data entry, calendar management, and AP/AR codes.
• Prepare monthly reports; monitor delinquency and ensure targets.
• Coordinate Move In/Move Out, collect insurance, process refunds.
• Support Property Manager with budget forecasting and events.
• Provide after-hours on-call support and communicate issues.
