Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Community Ambassador in Eugene, OR. The role acts as a liaison between residents and management, creating a vibrant community through programs, one-on-one interactions, and proactive problem-solving.

The position requires weekend and on-call availability, strong communication, and the ability to host tours, support leasing goals, and coordinate activities for student residents.

Qualifications

• Must have state leasing license or ability to obtain within mandated timeframe
• Proficient in MS Office applications and strong computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to plan and organize multiple tasks
• Maintain confidentiality
• Must have completed 12 undergraduate hours with GPA at least 2.5
• Must be enrolled in 12 undergraduate hours or 6 graduate hours during the academic year
• Must reside in an assigned staff apartment
• Must move on-site before fall training and building opening

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community enrichment programs and events
• Assist in marketing and leasing to meet weekly/monthly goals
• Cover rotating office shifts including nights and weekends
• Cover on-call duty shifts, tours, leasing and general office work
• Serve as a resource on services, community issues, conflict resolution, and crisis management
• Interact with potential residents through tours and distribution of materials
• Represent the company positively
• Assist General Manager and residents during move-in/move-out
