Job summary

McKinley Companies is seeking a motivated Resident Experience Coordinator to welcome residents and prospective renters while supporting tours and leasing activities. You will learn McKinley’s systems and service standards through hands-on training with a dedicated mentor at your home community.

After the initial five weeks of onboarding, you will join your assigned community and apply your new skills in leasing, marketing, and resident communications.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a customer service role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills including percentages, ratios and proportions.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunity laws.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for outreach between communities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact by providing friendly, professional service to residents and prospects.
• Assist with apartment tours and leasing activities alongside the Resident Experience Associate and Community Manager.
• Learn and communicate community features, amenities, and McKinley brand standards to prospects.
• Support community presentation by maintaining leasing paths, amenities, and model apartment readiness.
• Respond to resident and prospect inquiries via phone, email, text, and in person in a timely and professional manner.
• Accurately document interactions, service requests, and activities in Yardi and other required systems.
• Assist with marketing initiatives, promotions, and resident communications as directed.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly operational workflows.
• Participate in resident events and community engagement activities.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to Fair Housing laws, company policies, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
