You will show properties, process rental applications, conduct credit checks, collect rents, and prepare budgets. Strong communication, organization, and knowledge of housing laws are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with property management or leasing is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in occupancy and maintenance management.
• Communicate with tenants about property-related issues.
• Coordinate with tenants and third parties for maintenance.
• Collaborate with property management team to produce advertising materials.
• Meets with prospective tenants to show properties, process rental applications and explain terms of occupancy.
• Processes applications and conducts credit checks.
• Collects monthly fees and maintains records of payments and rental activity.
• Prepares budgets and financial reports.
• Coordinates with outside vendors to arrange services.
• Investigates and helps resolve complaints and violations.
• Complies with anti-discrimination housing laws.
• Contributes to team efforts by performing related tasks.
