Job summary

The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated Resident Support Coordinator to join our healthcare community. You will be the central contact for residents, families, visitors and staff, coordinating services, appointments and communications to create a welcoming, efficient environment.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) with benefits such as medical, retirement, life and disability coverage, and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare, senior living, customer service, social services, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Basic computer skills; including email and Microsoft Office; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to questions and concerns.
• Coordinate appointments, schedules, transportation, and meetings.
• Support reception, phones, correspondence, and office functions
• Support Social Services and resident/family needs.
• Communicate resident needs with the appropriate departments.
• Follow HIPAA, confidentiality requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Support resident activities, special events, and facility initiatives.
