Job summary

The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to create a clean and welcoming home for our residents in our care community.

You’ll play an important part in supporting daily living environments, ensuring spaces feel like home and upholding our values of service and dignity.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Housekeeping or eldercare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in the resident rooms.
• Clean bathrooms daily and restock toiletries.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed.
• Clean common areas of the facility including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms.
• Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings.

$1,000 Sign on Bonus The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help create a clean and welcoming home for our residents in our care community. In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting the daily living environment of those we serve – ensuring their spaces are cared for, and truly like home. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Maintaincleanliness in the resident’s room
• Clean bathrooms daily and restocking toiletries
• Empty trash cans and dispose of the waste in designated areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed
• Clean common areas of the facility including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms
• Clean the shower room
• Pack and move personal items for room changes
• Clean and change out beds as needed
• Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy
• Follow proper proceduresin the use of chemicals in the workplace and ensure they are secured when not in use
• Collaborate with team members to support residents and promote a positive living environment
