Job summary

St. James Place of Baton Rouge, a senior living community, seeks a Resident Services Coordinator to support the Director of Resident Services and act as liaison for Independent Living residents.

You will maintain resident records, assist with resident needs, and help with move-ins and events. The role requires strong organization, IT skills, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach to senior care.

Qualifications

• Experience in office administrative functions.
• Strong human relations and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and resident related support for the Director of Resident Services.
• Serves as liaison for Independent Living resident concerns.
• Facilitates response to resident needs and issues as appropriate.
• Helps new residents acclimate into the community.
• Performs final walk-throughs with families for moves.
• Updates resident information in MatrixCare and other systems.
• Coordinates new resident photos and move-in materials.
• Maintains parking, storage records, and event sheets as needed.
• Orders and maintains office supplies and handles errands.
