Job summary

Avanath is seeking a property management professional to oversee a community’s operations and resident experience. You will manage budgets, leasing goals, and on-site activities while ensuring compliance and service excellence.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement with residents, staff, and executives, supporting a positive living environment and long-term community success.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in the property management industry.
• 2+ years of experience as a community/property manager.
• Knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications.
• Experience with lease-up properties is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with senior executives.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and email.
• Professional presentation and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee community operations in an efficient, profitable manner.
• Manage budgets, rent rolls, projections, and occupancy goals.
• Maintain resident relations and ensure high customer service levels.
• Coordinate on-site operations and vendor relationships.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and operating budgets.
• Lead and develop team members, with ongoing feedback.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and applicable laws.
• Respond to resident concerns and emergencies promptly.
