Job summary

Indigo Living in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Residential Property Manager, Commonwealth Sr., to oversee multifamily communities and lead leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations. You’ll coach staff and ensure strong service delivery across channels.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of supervisory experience in multifamily communities, an associate degree in business or related field, and proven communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ownership of outcomes and ability to drive results.
• Natural communicator across multiple channels (phone, email, chat, social).
• Curious and driven with strong questioning to reach root cause.
• Flexible, eager to learn, and able to handle weekend coverage.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in multifamily communities; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multifamily communities and coordinate leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
• Coach Leasing Consultants and ensure growth from Assistant Manager after coaching.
• Review leasing reports and drive conversion of prospects to residents.
• Deescalate resident issues to achieve positive outcomes and reviews.
• Collaborate with maintenance to optimize day-to-day operations and reduce costs.
• Brainstorm with marketing on community initiatives and campaigns.
