Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living seeks a Resident Engagement Coordinator (Finance) to support meaningful resident programs and coordinate activities within the community.

The role emphasizes a person-centered approach and collaboration with the leadership team to drive monthly calendars and special events, including potential driving duties. A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred with leadership experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year direct experience coordinating, planning, and executing programs for adults.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses a person-centered approach starting with positive perceptions of aging and builds relationships with residents.
• Develops a monthly calendar in partnership with residents based on shared interests.
• Collaborates with the community leadership team to plan, coordinate, and execute special events.
• Plans and schedules meaningful opportunities for resident engagement outside the community, including driving a community vehicle.
