Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator to develop engaging programs for residents and coordinate events with the community leadership team. The role emphasizes relationship-building, calendar planning, and coordinating activities that promote well-being and social connection.

The position involves working on-site at a Brookdale community, with opportunities for growth, training, and involvement in a broad range of resident-centered activities and outreach

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience with adults coordinating, planning, and executing programs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a monthly calendar in partnership with residents.
• Collaborates with community leadership to plan, coordinate, and execute special events.
• Plans and schedules meaningful engagement opportunities for residents, including driving a community vehicle.
• Performs duties with a person-centered approach to aging and resident connections.
